The times they are a changing and Arcadia Montessori is no different.
After 30 fun-filled years of learning at our current location, we are beginning to plan for a move in 2008. We had a difficult time getting our lease renewed and are hoping to avoid this in the future by purchasing a property. We will continue to serve Tacoma’s North End and are planning early to avoid any disruption. We view this move as an opportunity to rethink how we deliver our services and to use the latest Montessori ideals to create innovative spaces for learning. We hope you’ll join us in our quest. If you feel that your life or the lives of loved ones has been enriched by the ideals, principles and teachers of Arcadia Montessori, then we urge you to consider helping us. We currently need help in all aspects of the project from finding a property and designing a layout, to fundraising, to simply sharing your ideas. If you are interested in becoming involved, please join us at our next meeting. It will be held at the Main Branch of the Tacoma Public Library on April 30, 2005 from 1pm to 4pm.
